Music is one of the missions of Bethlehem Lutheran — both in its support of worship and as an outreach to the community. As such, congregants and visitors to Sunday services will experience a wide variety of musical offerings. These range from traditional Lutheran hymns and liturgies to works by contemporary composers from many cultures and musical traditions. Musical interludes feature music director Sheryl Iott at the piano, performing classical selections as well as jazz-influenced and contemporary compositions and accompanying the choir. Bethlehem presents a four-part voice choir and full bell choir supporting the liturgical music as well as performing interludes and anthems, and features monthly guest artists of all instrumental persuasions.
